How do I register my swimmer?
After you have contacted the Program Director and your child has been evaluated and placed in a group, you can download Registration Forms from the website or you will receive them when your child is evaluated. Bring the completed forms and checks to the pool the first day your child swims and place them in the Blue Box just inside the main door.
What if I have questions about the forms?
Send an e-mail to Ellen Youngers at ellen@campdave.us with questions or to set up a time to meet with her. You can also catch her at the Rec Center on Mondays from 5-6pm during the school year.
How long is my swimmer's registration good?
When you sign up for any season, you are registered for the remainder of the competition year, which runs September 1 through August 31.
Why do I need to register for the entire year?
The Rochester Swim Club must reserve its pool space by lane in each pool and holding this space requires that we are aware of each swimmer that will be participating in that season. To do this, we must know who will be swimming well ahead of a session to hold the pool space for all who desire to be involved.
How do I notify you if my swimmer will be out for a session?
Send an e-mail to Ellen Youngers or if you prefer, you can send a written notification to: Orca Swimming, 2030 Valkyrie Dr NW 55901 postmarked by the dates published for each session.
When do I notify you if my swimmer will be out for a session?
For 2004-2005 Competition Year:

  • To terminate after the Fall Session and not swim Winter: November 22nd, 2004

  • To terminate after the Winter Session and not swim Spring: Notify by February 21st, 2005

  • To terminate after the Spring Session and not swim Summer: Notify by May 9th, 2005

Failure to notify the club of termination of participation by the notification dates will result in your family being responsible for the fees for that upcoming season.
What is a USA-S form?
This is a half-page form required by USA Swimming on each swimmer. You must fill out this form when your child starts with our program. It is not available on the website, you must come to Registration in September or come to the pool to fill this out and sign the form. Do not miss it!

When is registration for current swimmers?
Our main registration is in the fall, usually early September. Registration forms and USA-S forms completed and fees paid. Equipment and Team Wear is available for purchase. During the competition year, you complete Registration forms and bring them when your child begins with our program. Registration Questions can be directed to Ellen Youngers.
How do I pay my swimmer’s fees?
In September, fees are paid for the Fall session at the Registration meeting. During the rest of the year, forms are available online and are filled out and turned in before each session (Winter, Spring, Summer) begins.
How do I get equipment for my swimmer?
Read our Equipment Policy on the website and then go to the Download Center to get a copy of the Equipment Order Form. Print the form, fill it out, attach your check payment and place it in the Blue Box at the Rec Center.
